In 2025 we find ourselves at a pivotal and defining moment in our terrestrial history. Technological innovations are addressing planetary problems in new and unprecedented ways, combatting the existential threats to our climate and biodiversity. The species that’s orchestrated the mess the earth now faces is also engineering brilliant solutions to its mayhem. There is concurrent cause for acute concern and tempered optimism. Ironically, sectors historically responsible for much of the decimation of nature are now ones demonstrating great will and resources to save it. Industry and finance are standing up, spearheading assets and capital to reverse the assault on our oceans, landscapes and ecosystems. They’re investing in advanced technologies to conserve our natural world while securing the lives of all who share it. This radically transformative boom is not only racing to save our fragile existence, it’s creating the new entrepreneurial and technological industries which will finance the current millennium. The challenge now is to scale these innovations and empower new ones in time to save ourselves and our shared home.
Series concept:
Less Doom More Boom is an upcoming monthly video podcast series laser focused on the new ideas and opportunities across all business sectors currently, and on the verge of transforming the economy and the planet. It’s a series of succinctly provocative conversations with financial, tech and innovation leaders on the future of nature and business. Our philosophy is simple; for too long too much focus has been placed on the dire consequences of the assault on nature. Its immensity overwhelms science supporters and draws condemnation from science skeptics. Less Doom More Boom shifts the dialogue towards solutions and the inspiring world of brilliant innovators and businesses now working to change the paradigm. We focus on the financing tools, techniques and resources driving the new era of nature business. We connect science, nature, innovation, conservation and finance to empower and inspire viewers to the new world of viable and profitable nature friendly industries.
